The word Monday itself makes us sad, especially if you hear it on weekends. Mondays can be tough even if you love your job.
The main reason why Monday blues are tough to beat is because of all the relaxing we have on weekends. We chill, go out, sleep late, party till night, and suddenly you know the next day you have to wake up early and go to the office.
Even though it might be challenging to stay motivated on Monday, there are a few things you can do.
We are here to share with you some things that will help you stay motivated on a Monday and throughout the week.
4 Tips that will help you stay motivated on a Monday
1. Prepare in advance:
The main problem is that we tend to stay up late for the last three days and get used to it. Then as soon as the alarm goes off, we are tired, and we end up rushing everything quickly. To avoid being stressed out, you need to plan the day on Sunday.
Party and have fun as much as you want on Friday and Saturday, but keep Sunday on a proper routine. Make sure that you know you have work the next day and go to sleep at an appropriate time.
2. Avoid Frowning:
Mondays are hard for everyone, so there is no reason to frown throughout the day. We recommend recalling your happy memories and joke that make you laugh.
If you have a particular place that makes you happy, then go there for a few mins. Studies have shown that laughter releases endorphins in our body, which makes us feel good naturally.
The feeling of stress usually begins as soon as we wake up. One of the best ways to calm your nerves and give yourself a dose of encouragement is by meditating. Meditation helps to clear your mind and prepare your mind for the day.
So you have meditated, and your mind is awake, but that isn’t enough. The next thing to do is to wake up your body. The best way to prepare your body is through exercise. If you cannot go to a gym, do some cardio at home for 20mins. Do whatever you want to make your heart pump and increase the oxygen flow to your brain.
Along with all these things, here are a few songs that will give you positive vibes when you are feeling low.
- Good Feeling, by Flo Rida
- All-Star, by Smash Mouth
- Life is a Dance, by John Michael
- Your love keeps me lifting higher and Higher by Jackie Wilson.
There you go, do these four things, and it will surely help you prepare for Monday. Remember that “whatever you do today will get you closer to where you want to be tomorrow.”
So, understand what is best for you and start doing the right things. Good luck!
